Your Soul’s Purpose

One year ago, I moved to Sweden to be with my grandmother. She had been in a poor physical condition for a few months, and something in me told me I needed to be by her side.

As I left France, I was very anxious about the trip. Her health had degraded fast over the last 3 months, and I had never been in a situation like this before. Yet, my heart was clear that this was what I needed to do.

I ended up staying nearly a year with my grandmother. We shared some of the most tender and loving moments of my life, as well as some of the toughest and scariest. I am extremely grateful for every moment we shared together.

Above all, my grandmother taught me about unconditional love and how it feels. She made me feel seen, heard, and embraced in every facet of my soul. In my darker times, she was always by my side encouraging me and believing in me.

We also shared some of the most challenging moments of my life. Moments where I had to carry her in my arms because she was too weak to move by herself. Nights where I went to sleep worried I wouldn't see her in the morning.

I also learned about my blind spots: overbearing responsibility and trying to save others at my expense. I learned about my family dynamics, my lineage, and the culture I came from.

The irony is that both the fearful and loving moments were equally important. Both taught me more than I could have imagined about life, being in service, and authentic love.

Sometimes in life, we are called to adventures that frighten us to bits. Yet, deep in our hearts, we know what we need to do. Such moments are our personal tests — the Universe asking us how brightly we want to shine and follow our soul's purpose.

Our soul's purpose does not lie in huge achievements. It begins and ends in everything that is done from our heart. When we are serving from a place of love, compassion, and care, we are always aligned with our true purpose.

Whenever life calls you forward for another hero's journey, remember to follow the pull of your heart. Return to love over and over again, because it is love that moves the world, brightens the shadows, and heals our souls.

And without love, all of this journey would be meaningless anyways.

I'll end with a little text that I found very impactful in my life...

May your life be filled to the brim with purpose, love, and joy. And may you share these wonderful gifts with all those you care about 🙏
