The Ripple Effect

It’s a curious reason that led me to become a coach. I was wondering about the ripple effect — the power of changing your life and how it would impact the rest of the world.

I’ve always been very inspired by Gandhi's quote "Be the change you want to see in the world," without fully understanding it.

I am starting to see what it means in real life. As I coach myself, and in return coach others, I am seeing ripples spread around me.

I decided to pursue this calling because I believed that coaching was one of the greatest ways I could help someone change their life.

It’s a peculiar job and I am still discovering new facets of it every day. But one thing I constantly observe, is the power it has on people.

The ripple effect is basically about how changing the life of one person will influence the world around him. It's what connects everyone to the whole.

We are all products of the ripple effect of others, whether we are conscious of it or not. Many have contributed to making us who we are today.

We have all received support and inspiration from others in our life. And this has led us to create ripples on our path as well.

The beauty is that this is so complex that we cannot see it. Yet, the power of the ripple effect is also what can create the biggest planetary change.

A single person striving for mastery and living to his fullest potential, can have effects on thousands, even millions of people in his life.

The power of the ripple effect continues to grow as we do the work on ourselves. With inner growth, we have an increasing impact on people. We become an agent of change.

I see this pattern very clearly in my life and the life of my clients. I see the waves that spread around them as they step into their highest potential.

And there is nothing more fulfilling than sharing back what I learned and becoming a creator of ripples myself.

We should never underestimate the power of working on ourselves and how that will influence others. As the greatest source of change is often inspiration.

By being an exemplar of purpose, virtue, and love, you are encouraging hundreds and thousands to follow this path as well.

Life is much bigger than just ourselves. Yet, we all have the power to change things around us and take part in the ripple effect.

So what will you choose to believe?

That all your actions are in vain?

Or will you trust the power of the ripple effect?
