Now is Your Time

A lot of uncertainty lies in the future right now. What will happen when we step out of confinement? Will life just return to normal? Will we fall back into the same patterns?

I believe that humanity is about to shift into a new era and that we cannot predict what is about to come. The crisis has revealed cracks in the system to the eyes of the entire world. We have been gifted a way out of the miseries that were plaguing us.

Let’s face it, our way of living was bound to hit a wall. And it could have been far worse than this. To some extent, we are lucky, we have a chance to change our collective trajectory right now. A few decades later and it could have been too late.

The disaster that has fallen upon us is an opportunity for us to reconnect with virtue. To reconnect with who we were born to be. To break from the prisons we were living in. Yes, we are fortunate but we cannot see it yet.

I have many dreams for the period to come. I dream of a world where we are free to express who we truly are, not the masks we show each other. I dream of a world where sensitivity and creativity are valued. I dream of a world where we all understand our common humanity and unite in it.

But these hopes are in vain if this crisis doesn’t shock us to the core. Yes, for some of us this will be painful. All your limiting beliefs and conditionings will crumble. You will feel lost. But only for a moment. Because you are not alone, we are in this together. And you have everything you need within yourself. Underneath all the dust, you have gold waiting to be uncovered.

Make the best use of the time right now to examine your life. Journal on the values you want to bring forth in the coming decade. Write about what makes your life purposeful every day. The small, mundane things, that light you up, that bring you joy. The dreams you had locked away.

What do you feel called to do? Trust yourself and go forth.

It is normal to feel fear as you ask yourself these questions. We have stopped dreaming and listening to our inner voice for far too long. But we have been granted the opportunity we were waiting for. A life where we can be ourselves, where we don’t have to hide our oceans of depth.

Now is your time to uncover your gold. Now is your time to share your gifts with the world. Now is your time to be yourself.
