Not Knowing
When one moves towards his dreams, he steps into a realm of unknown possibilities. If his heart is faithful, he will not worry. But if it is filled with doubt, fear will eat him alive.
Playing with the unknown is a tricky business. Most of what we perceive in life is based on our programming and past experiences. So walking into an unknown direction goes against everything we believe.
There were a few times in my life where I knew I had to do something, but I had no clue how it was going to happen. This really freaked me out and challenged my faith.
Very few people listen to and follow their intuition. The reason why, is that our intuition usually takes us into unknown and spontaneous directions. Thus, it is not the safest way per se, but the one that usually feels the best.
To create the magic we desire we must follow our intuitions with action.
Last August, I signed up for a wealth container with a teacher called Jen McCarty. The course was expensive and I barely had enough for the deposit. Yet, I knew I had to join this course. I could feel this calling resonating in my entire body.
For some reason, I had not a single doubt that I would receive the money I needed for the container. One synchronicity led to the other, and one week later, I had the money I needed in my bank account.
The reason this happened is twofold. I was guided by my intuition and my faith was unwavering. I had not a single fear that this would not happen. Yet, how I would manifest the money was completely unknown to me.
If I had based my faith on my egoic mind, I would never have done this. But not knowing has a relieving factor to it. We don't have to figure everything out by ourselves.
If we trust and follow our guidance, the path will be revealed to us. Surrendering to the unknown is an active act of faith in the higher forces that support us.
This experience shattered the illusion that I was alone and had to figure everything out by myself. I realized I did not need to know, I just needed to trust.
The same thing happened to me when I wanted to go to New York in September for a shamanic workshop. I didn’t know how to get into the US or pay for the trip. But yet again, I received all the information and help I needed.
I believe some things that happen to us are in our life’s contract. That we are pulled to certain people or directions because we have a mission to fulfill there.
Our egoic mind does not know about this, it just wants to protect us. And we've been taught since our childhood to fear the unknown and believe in our limitations.
Not knowing is liberating. It humbles you and creates space for your wildest dreams to come true.
But this is not always easy. These situations challenge your beliefs about abundance and receiving. They are a real test of faith and of trust in unknown forces.
Our intuition never lies. We always know what direction is right for us if we listen to ourselves and surrender to our guidance.
So, what do you feel called to jump into this year?
Are you receiving any intuitive messages or signs in your life?
And how can follow them with some active faith?
Time to let go and trust!
